MadNes is very happy to have foreign visitors. Since our website is only in Dutch (we are a little lazy), here's one page telling you everything you need to know.
What is MadNes?
MadNes is THE surf, skate and music festival in the Netherlands. Set up by five friends in a pub, MadNes went totally out of control during the first editions. MadNes combines surfing, windsurfing, skimboarding, skateboarding, yoga, creative outbursts and around 20 bands and DJ's, both national and international.
When and where?
MadNes takes place on 24, 25 and 26 June on the beach of Ameland, one of the Dutch 'Waddeneilanden', up north.
What's included in a ticket?
- access to 25 (inter)national bands and DJ's
- two nights on the camp site (Friday 24th till Sunday 26th of June)
- lunch on Saturday June 25th
- dinner on Saturday June 25th
- breakfast on Sunday June 26th
- use of test material
- participation, after registration, on Ripstar golfsurf clinics, Revert skateboard clinics, SHHH skimboard clinics and Peddels kitesurf clinics. (for all clinics: full = full)
- participation with all the other activities during MadNes
- bus transportation from the ferry on Ameland to the festival site and back
How much and where to order?
The price of a ticket for MadNes 2011 is €85,-. You can order your ticket by clicking on the orange 'Koop nu je tickets!' button on top of the website, which means 'Buy your tickets now! You can choose your language from there to buy your tickets.
